Sweet And Sour Chicken

Recipe Ingredients

For Marination
500gm Chicken boneless
1 Egg
1 tsp Light soya sauce
1/2 tsp Chinese five spice powder
2 to 3 tbsp Corn starch
For deep fry Oil
For Sauce
1 clove Chopped garlic
6 Green onion
1 Capsicum (diced)
1 Cup Pineapple (diced)
1 tbsp Ginger chopped
2 tsp Corn starch.
2 tsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
3 tbsp Oil.
3 tbsp White vinegar
3 tbsp Sugar
4 tbsp Water
4 tbsp Pineapple juice
to taste Salt n pepper
For five spice powder
1/4 tsp Clove powder
1/4 tsp Nut Meg powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp Aniseed powder
1/4 tsp Star anise powder

Recipe Method

 
For five spice powder, take a bowl and add 1/4 tsp of clove
powder, 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder, 1/4 cinnamon powder,  1/4 tsp aniseed  powder and 1/4 tsp star anise powder to mix.
Now marinate chicken with 1/2tsp Chinese salt, five spice
powder, 1 tsp of light Soya sauce, 1 egg and 2 to 3 tbsp of starch powder. Now
deep fry the chicken pieces and put them in another bowl. For sauce, add 2 tsp
of corn starch, 4 tbsp of water, 4 tbsp of pineapple juice, 3 tbsp of vinegar,
3 tbsp of sugar, 2 tsp of soya sauce and 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup to mix. Now
heat 3 tbsp of oil in pan and add 1 garlic clove and 1 tbsp of ginger chopped
to fry for few seconds and add 6 green onion and diced capsicum and add thick
gravy. Then add salt and black pepper to taste. In the end add deep fry chicken
and dish it out and serve.
